Colorado Archery Moose

Since Saturday we've seen 5 different Bulls, 10 cows and 2 calfs and 20-30 hunters and 100s of hikers, bikers and atvs. With deer, elk, bear and moose (muzzleloader and archery) in this area it didn't take long for the pressure to get to the moose. My buddy stalked within 80 yards of a trophy bull only to have a muzzleloader shoot at a mule deer buck about 150 yards away and spook the bull. I'm not hunting just helping him out, we are trying an area by the county road by Keystone CO today. Otherwise no cell phone service by the regular area. He's using his bow now,  but may switch to a rifle on October 1st if no luck.

That's one thing about Colorado there is a lot of people in the outdoors, and not all are hunters. There also a lot of game.
Good luck

It would really be cool to stalk a bull moose within bow range. Good luck to your friend and you be safe Blackbear. Get some pictures.
