Hunt got cut short

Hunt got cut short

I was only out for 2 days before the area got shut down for fire danger. Got a little forky first though. Visibility was only about 100 yards so I wasn't in a position to pass things up. Thanks for all the input on the ttsx for .257. Just like everyone said it hit like a lightning strike! Didn't taoe 1 step just tipped over. Passed all the way through the back shoulder. Wouldn't hesitate to use that combo on larger game. Didn't even ruin much meat on the exit shoulder.

Too bad your hunt got cut short. The fires are bad this year.
The 100 TTSX and the .257 are made for either IMO
Makes my wonder why l am trying the 120 Northfork  ::)

Too bad about the hunt, but at least it wasn't a complete bust. The proof is in the pan, sauteed scallions, tomato's, squash, bell pepper, (could be tomato) salt and pepper and great looking back strap medallion's. The TTSX and 257 do not disappoint. ;) 8)

In general, are the TTSX as accurate as the Nosler Accubond?

Very accurate in my accumark maybe just a tad more accurate than Accubonds - i'll be using them this season in a couple of mine.

Danno thats a heart cooked on a bed of peppers and onions! To the other question the ttsx is the most accurate factory round for my rifle.

Mike, It was not ideal to get cut short but I still have bear and elk coming up. Still a good bit of time before I have to hang it up for the year. Supposed to have a big storm hit today and I might sneak back up in the next couple weeks if I can. I saw 2 nice bears and a cougar on the drive up. In the ball park of 40 deer before I took that 1. Just have to put in the work and fill some more tags. I have some pictures from the hunt I will post later.
