Never would have guessed that one - figured it never got below 60F there.
There are snow covered mountains there. It does snow at the higher elevations occasionally.  :)

Zonie, You got it reversed. The Navajo Rez goes daylight savings and the Hopi Rez stays on standard time. On the Navajo Rez in Tuba City the time is one hour later than across the road in Moenkopi on the Hopi Rez. The boundary is the centerline of the road. It gets weird in other ways too. GJ

If you have enough ash, you can go elephant hunting. Dig a big hole, fill it with ash and tie a peanut over the hole. When the elephant goes for the peanut, kick him in the ash hole! LOL!

I live within a few miles of the Wind River Indian Reservation.  I am completely familiar with the term.
