Bore guides????

For those with SIX-lug MkV actions .... what bore guide are you using.  I cannot find one that locks into place properly.  I have three six lug rifles and NEED a bore guide for them ....

I own a six lug 7mm-08 and am intending to buy bore guide no. 18 by Possum Hollow from www.midwayusa.com/.  As I have not ordered it yet, I cannot vouch for it fitting your rifle.  There is a bore guide chart listed and it says the no. 18 will fit a MK V in 7mm-08, 308, 30-06, and .270 http://www.midwayusa.com/midwayusa/staticpages/pdf/Chart_PDFs/EJS_Bore_Guide_Chart.pdf  Hope this helps.  I have been using a bore snake up until now.

Just wanted to let the folks coming here know- After reading the above, I actually ordered the Possum Hollow #18 bore guide & it definitely is not compatible with my 6-lug action Weatherby in 270 Winchester or 338-06. The #18 has a diameter which is far to large to fit the action.
Just trying to save other people from wasting their hard earned money-

I use the MTM bore guides. even if this is a 12 year old thread!

Dewey has several Weatherby bore guides and can make a custom diameter version if not standard.

Yes, I am attempting this route now. I currently have Possum Hollow & Sinclair's guides for all my rifles and wanted the same style for the Weatherby, but we'll see how the Dewey works out.
