I couldn't find any performance specs, velocity, energy, trajectory, on the different bullet weights and the calibers they present for comparison. Guess we have to wait till 1:30pm CST for more info.

No, it's like Pelosi and Obama care. You got to buy one and see what it does and then figure out whether you screwed up or not.HaHaHa

Bullet makers making these heavier,270 cal bullets, and gun smiths will be the one's that come out ahead in this deal. There will be tons of 270 Weatherby people that with chamber a 1 in 8 twist barrel in 270 Weatherby to shoot these heavies after the bullets hit the shelves.

I think there will be a few people buy them like anything else new they got to have it.  I'm taking a wait and see attitude  and see how it pans out long term, I highly doubt I buy  one.

I have a wide range of calibers, so I don’t need to go outside of what I consider the normal band of bullet weights for caliber.

Unless I was a diehard .270 fan, I don’t see the need to shoot 175 grain bullets from a .270. I have 7mm and .30 cal rifles for that.

I guess this is the long range option for .270 fans and is meant to complete with the long range 6.5mm cartridges (6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, etc...).

I'm a fan of unbelted performance. I'm just waiting for the rifles as they were smart enough to make ammo available first. New and different is a invitation to me!  Just like WBY calibers when first introduced! Build a better mouse trap?
