There are a lot of lobbyist leaning hard on them also. What happened at our US Capital was tragic, but Antifa attacking and burning federal courthouses, police precincts, and in some cases causing loss of life was not much different. Very few of those rioters were held accountable, regardless of how many videos of people and faces the FBI got on file. Once again its the old double standard and bias by omission that the dems have been using for years. The Impeachment will divide our country even more.  Theres a well known old saying at play here:
