Looks like Texas is going to get some serious rain! Hope Musicman is ready for this, even if we haven't heard from him in weeks!

We got 1 1/2" of rain over the weekend, most of it between 3am and 5am this morning. We're expecting more this afternoon :).

It usually does that here, giant rain storm that just runs off. No rain in my 5 day forecast! The long range prediction says a warmer and wetter than usual summer. What was the quote from "Good Moring Viet Nam" about warm and wet? LOL!

How is this for a typical summer day, Grouchy?  Note the humidity.

70% chance of rain later today.  "Rain amounts of 1 to 2" possible" . We could use some, but not all at once.  :)

We finally had some great rains. Now some sun shine to make things grow.

We've had some good rain in the last three days.  But like most of us, we need more.

As long as we are in the a/c, no problems! :-)
Actually, I was doing yard work in this humidity. It doesn't worry me any.

it was 36C and pretty high humidity for us, enough to spark up a pretty good light show here and a tornado an hour away last night. This morning 15C and light rain.

Got some needed rain in SE Texas yesterday. For anybody who's near the coast between Corpus Christi, TX and New Orleans, LA, there is a tropical disturbance in the southern Gulf of Mexico that has a good chance for development and will move north over the next few days.
Come and take it.

The next named storm will be Claudette.   :)
