Thanks, but already looked there and can not find a load for a 7mm Roy using 7977 with a 160 gr. bullet. I see it for a 175 gr. bullet. Getting ready to go to Idaho and have three pounds of 7977 and only a cup full of Retumbo. 7977 works well in my 300 Roy and 300 Win, thought it might work well in my 7mm Roy with a 160 gr. Nosler AB, but can’t find the load. If I missed it please help me out. Thanks

IMR 7977 is nearly identical to H-1000. I have used identical load weights in my 300 Wby and seen no noticeable difference. If you take the H-1000 load data for the 7mm Wby, reduced by 5 or 6 grains, you could be at a good starting point for the 7977 load.

Eford,
Thanks for your response. I had read that and you confirming that similarly helps. The 7977 works well in my .300’s and hopefully in the 7mm Roy.

Thanks,
GT Arkansas
