Pig Hunt This Weekend

Will hopefully be headed up to the new lease for some pig hunting this weekend. Gotta decide if I’m going to sit for a whole sounder or and go after this large boar. I like hunting the solo boars because there is way less chance of getting busted.

Hold out and go after Mr big boar. Then you can knock the smaller ones over as they would likely return sooner.

That does look like a big one. If you're planning on cooking up the meat, of course the little ones sure as hell would be much better.

Not the big one, a mid size boar. I’ll get the big one eventually though!

Probably so. The diet of the pigs up there are quite a bit different than they were down in the hill country. He didn’t have a smell or anything when I walked up on him.
