Rock Island Armory or Springfield Loaded 5" 1911 in .45 in either a Galco Vertical Shoulder Holster or a cheap NRA tuckable holster.

Gentlemen:
I've two Springfields; a 5" XDM and a 3 1/2" XD sub-compact, both in .40 caliber.  I'm currently carrying the Sub-Compact in a Galco Silhouette holster; and I have on order a Galco Fletch holster, into which I plan to carry my Smith 686 in .357 Mag.
I'm very pleased with Galco's product and their customer service- I've never before attempted to carry a wheel gun, but once the Fletch gets here, I'll begin.
Thanks-  :)

Hey "shoose61", do you know that Colt has put the Mustang back in production?  Check their web site. ;)

They wha...It's official, I need to find a way to make money on the side to fund my addiction. I liked the way the Mustangs looked but was pretty sure I'd never find one.

If you like the Colt Mustang then you may be interested in the Sig Sauer P238.

I carry a Kimber Ultra CDP II, but it's going to take a back seat to the new XD-S .45ACP ;)

21 oz. with 5+1 hot XTP's will do just fine.

When I feel the need I stick a full size 1911 .45 in my pocket or waist band. Other wise I use my most visable weapons, My hands!

Yes, MarkA, I did see that the Mustang was back in production.  I think it might be next on my list.
