For the longest time, I thought Glocks were ugly. The only ugly gun is a inaccurate one or a jammer. Glocks are neither. I sold off a 10mm and a 45 auto for a slight profit. I now have these, a 17,19 with a slide to convert it to a 32 and a 26 I just got. The 26 is a bit shorter frame than my M&P shield but about the same slide/barrel length.

Nice pistols !   Glocks have been a standard for different agencies and civilians for quite a few years.  I don't own any I've never had a warm and fuzzy feeling about the looks and how they feel in my hands not that it should be a distraction for anyone else,  I'm more of an instinctive shooter and the gun has to point where I want it too without thinking.  This is strictly me I love the feel of a Browning High Power or any of the CZ 75's or clones, 1911's,  some Beretta's, some Sigs, one of my carry guns is a P 365,   the little Ruger LC9 as long as it has the finger groove Hogue rubber sleeve.   We have a Springfield Armory XD in 45 acp and it's been bone reliable although it does shoot a little high as per how it was designed not a big issue.  Like Revolvers give me a Smith & Wesson J, K,  or L  frame with a smooth radiused trigger and  Hogue Rubber grips  I'm a happy camper, although a friends  newer lightweight  Ruger LCR in 357 mag is not bad.  We have a little short barreled Charter Arms Bulldog 44 spec as a back country gun when out scouting it's not a 44 mag but it will get your attention if loaded hot.

I have a Glock 20 in a 10mm. I really like that handgun…a ton of power and I don’t think the recoil is fierce.

They may not look pretty but they do work. I have few Glock models and I carry a Glock 20 10mm in an Alaskan chest holster whenever in the woods. Gives me a warm and fussy feeling knowing its there. I do own and like other pistols/revolvers, but that G20 I trust my life to.

I'm not a real fan of the factory sights. I put Ameriglo ghost ring sights on the 26. I wasn't sure I'd like them. The more I look through them, the better I am pleased with that choice.  I bought a Relentless Tactical IWB leather holster a while back and all three fit snug as a bug, even if the 17 is too big for concealed carry in my warm and wet climate. They make really nice holsters at a decent price. U.S. made as well!

I had to warm up to the Glocks also.  But I have learned to like there looks. And they Work.
I have the 23 & 43 and looking for A 20
They are just plain reliable.

I have a friend that carries a 43. She has small hands and that single stack magazine works well, plus it's a bit more concealable for the thinner profile. She has a "bra" holster. Nobody looks in between with her.

I am also a Glock owner, even though I always thought they looked ugly too. Their renowned reliability can't be disputed. They have grown on me also as far as looks over the years and I grew to view the design as military or "business like" in nature instead of ugly, as I never saw any pretty military hardware!

+ 1 for the 10mm mine is a stainless Colt Delta Elite,  not stock,  heavy for a everyday carry gun but I use a Blackhawk universal in the front of the chest holster , basically an updated version of the old WWII  leather chest holster use it for easy access or  while on horse, quads, where I need 2 hands free to do other things.

I sold a model 20 and a 21 when I was convinced they were ugly.  I typically carry a revolver when hunting.  My model 26 has the aggressive textured frame which I see as an advantage. It's pretty much a single use gun.  A better grip in a potentially stressful situation can't be a bad thing, IMO.    BTW, Zonie, I have a Charter Arms Bulldog 44 special as well.

They are ugly guns, but much like a hammer on a tool belt. If it works who cares what it looks like. I was trained by Glock as an armorer many years ago.  I can can still detail the good and bad about them, I have shot untold thousands of rounds in Glock handguns, trained hundreds how to shoot them. Own or owned 17s, 19, 22, 26, 27 and 48. Shot 18, 20 and 21s. The polymer frame on the 22 has battle scars and a nearly wore thru in a place were the ASP baton rubbed against it for about 15 years. All I use wear Trijicon night sights and I replace those about every 10 years as that's about their life span.   When you know how to shoot them, they work really well.

I wanted to put a model 23 slide on the 19 frame but couldn't find the parts. I did find the 32 parts and a 23 slide. I went with that. I have a ton of once fired 357 Sig brass. I got a deal on 500 brass. I was surprised that the 357 Sig barrel is considerably thicker than the 9mm even if they are both 9mm bullets. So, I needed the 23 slide with the larger opening for that barrel. The extractor is different as well for the larger case of the Sig round.

Very nice Grouchy, I've always been a fan of Glocks.  One of my carry pistols is a Gen 1, Glock 19.

glocks in the stable here as well - passed on my 9mm's to the kids 17's i have one 43, two 357 sigs which ride in my pickups. Did sell my 45's for a good profit when things went crazy.

I have a S&W 2.0 40cal NIB,

Carry 1911's in my hunting pack i alternate between 10mm or 357 sig both sig model's just as a backup gun for shooting wounded pigs if needed.
