Britt's Whitetail

[Big Muddy rancher]

Britt went with some friends to the north end of the ranch next to some fields first thing this morning. Two guys a Half mile south and two of them on the north side. Britt had a buck walk up the him right towards her showing him self at 23 yards.

She had been sitting on her butt holding her rifle up waiting for him to show over the edge of the hill for about 3 or 4 minute and he came straight on at her. She took her shot seeing mostly hair and they think the bullet went between the front legs and burned the outside of the back leg. He hardly jumped and moved off to about 85 yards where she nailed him. The young fellow hunting with them took a buck about the same size.

nice    she has been having a good year, and I see you guys got some snow down there now. I got so many things on the go around here right now, I highly doubt I will even get out whitetail hunting at all this year.

Nice! My friend in Maryland lost his lease this year. The people that owned it sold it off to a developer.

We had a bit of snow one of those windy days but other then a few banks and in the shady areas it's really nothing.
