Alan West would be better than Wayne. He was my congressman for a short while, till they changed the district border 2 blocks. His losing reelection campaign called his democrat competitor a "racist". That turned me off. Last I heard, he was trying to unseat Governor Abbott of Texas.

I also would take West (or just about any non-democrat) over crooked Wayne. I always liked him and had not heard of him playing the race card. I was really pissed with the NRA this morning, as they called me AGAIN asking for money! I told them if they continue to hassle me for money, I won't be renewing ever again and hung up.

He had posted signs locally calling the eventual white winner a racist here. Win on the issues, not on the "race" card! Is he still running against Abbott in the primary?  I see he lost his primary bid against Abbott after a quick search.

         Scary! I don't think so, it's all the democrats have and it'll be his last Hurrah.  (how many times do you have to lose before you figure out your not wanted)

He must be making a decent living being a perennial candidate. He almost beat Cruz. In any case, a change at the top of the NRA can only be a good thing.  I believe Col. West is a board member.

The NRA called me ONCE AGAIN this morning asking for money after I just told them yesterday to stop it! We were up late last night and sleeping in this morning when they woke us up - I'm calling them next week during business hours to go ballistic on them. I've had it with them and don't even know how they got my cell number. As for Beto (real name Robert), he will be slaughtered again come election time.

If I don't recognize a number, I just don't answer it.  If if someone got my number from someone, they better leave a message or I don't call back.    Betto is an radical idiot, and I hope he looses bad this year.  He is not good for Texas or the country.

I block a lot of numbers on my phone. Unknown and no message gets them blocked!

The board is still made up of largely LaPierre cronies, so unless LaPierre steps down, not much chance for reform.
