Hello all, sorry about late response. I have A 338-378 in the Lazermark from the custom shop. To build one of these Weatherby welds another lug just in front of the action lug. I was told by them that if I did not do this the stock would crack from the recoil, and they would not build it any other way do to possible liabilities and or injury. The cost is not that much more than an Accumark, just the stock and welding if I remember right. There is A 30-378 deluxe on Gunbroker right now for 5000.00 which is way to high in my opinion because I was about 2000.00 under this for A new rifle if memory serves me correctly. Be aware there are rifle's out there that have had the stock changed with out the extra lug added which are not safe! Weatherby would not add this if it was not needed! Anyway call the custom shop if you want one of these, you might be pleasantly surprised on the cost! This rifle shoot's every bit as good as my 30-378 Accumark and is A very handsome rifle and everyone who see's it want's one like it. I use it for extra long range hunting in the high plains of Montana and the east slopes of the Cascade mountains of Washington for Elk and Mule deer where it work's as good as it look's! In closing, give the Custom shop A call, you might be surprised how inexpensive an upgrade or custom rifle really is!!! Life is short, and it's the small things that really add quality and happiness to it! Shoot well...Shoot often...Shoot safe....Jerry
