I had a heart attack in 2018, I was 45 and under 200 lbs in pretty good shape, so it can happen at any time. Other than have to take meds every day now, I never changed much, you have to live life,  f**k it right.    I had covid 3 times now, for me it's hardly nothing, very mild cold,  but I have had friends that was very sick for a good 3 weeks with it, one barely pulled though.

A few years back I had a TIA, (Transient ischemic attack) sometimes called a mini-stroke. Long story short, after minor treatment, test and intravenous fluids, I was released and told I should see a neurosurgeon. I did and all has been well ever since. I had the first two Covid vaccines, opted not to take anymore, and to-date Covid free. I did get the flu shot last month. I try not to leave too much to chance anymore, but even with care, theres always the unexpected. TGFAD

Awesome 👏
My wife and I have been stuck because of Covid and we have both had medical issues (Her cancer and me with having to have biopsies for suspected returning cancer). we finally got out for a management doe hunt with the outfitter we have been going to since I first took my son to for his first deer in 1998. Four day booking in some beautiful country near the California redwoods all inclusive. This was to be a sentimental hunt using the same caliber rifle as my first deer hunt in 1964 (250 Savage). Myself and my other 3 siblings all took our first deer with that rifle. My wife's grandfather and father both hunted with a model 1920 that my son now owns. He took his first deer with that same rifle in 1998 one and done. I bought a new Savage 114 American classic in that caliber in 2009 and retired the 1920 model. we got a nice doe on the second morning at a laser ranged 340 yards, high shoulder shot. Dropped in her tracks with a total pass through using a hand loaded 100 grain Nosler E-Tip @2800 fps. No wasted meat. Best time we have had in years especially being with old friends.
Best Regards, Mike

I can definitely relate to many of the comments. I also had a TIA a few years back, a stone stuck in my ureter about 8-9 years ago (the tube from the liver to the bladder) that almost killed me and then been on active surveillance with prostate cancer the past three years. My urologist just called me last week and said the last biopsy (3rd one, just done recently) is not looking so good, so it's time to look at treatment options in the near future - consultation next week. You just never know what crap is going to happen, which is why we just have to live our lives and enjoy the good parts as long as we can! Stay well and get that checkup you've been putting off (do it for your family)!
Come and take it.

At least kidney stones can be treated with ultra sound (I believe). Gall stones can't. ask me how I know.

I don't think I had stones but my Gall Bladder went bad. Doctor sent me to the hospital in the ambulance on a Sunday morning. They let me stew until Tuesday evening before they got me to surgery. They were even packing me in ice I was so hot, When they touched the Gall Bladder it exploded and I had an "episode"  on the table, whatever that meant.

The scary part about my older brother is my younger brother called me about an hour apart and repeated what he told me iin the first call, after the text that explained it all.  He was confused when I asked about it. He is 68!
