Throat Erosion

Here is a pic of my 300 wby. Mark V Deluxe throat showing erosion in pic 2 and pic 1 Freeborn to rifling.
I am no expert.  That erosion seems minor to me.
What are your thoughts.

 Not an expert but I have scoped all of my rifles. Looks real good to me.

As best as I can make out (the focus is not the best) it doesn't look very bad at all to me.

There’s no meaningful erosion. Rifling looks excellent.

I understand looking after spending a ton on the scope. If the gun is shooting up to expectaions, never fix what ain't broke.

Looks like ya got lotta life left in the ol 300 wby appears be clean to

It doesn't look like it's been shot all that much as compared to other's I've seen.   when it starts looking like a heat checked worn out pressure plate on a car or charred piece of burnt wood , even then I wouldn't start worrying too much unless accuracy starts dropping.
