hmmmmmm. maybe she like's that buck REALLY REALLY likes him.
If I had to guess i'd say she was probably the older in charge doe of the three you saw. You always see the big mama in charge when doe all get together she's in front and looking at everything all the time. She's the one that busts up your shots during archery season because she sees you before any of the rest of them.
That's my guess.

This article explains that she is most probably a doe with issues and probably a jilted doe by a Herd Buck that is long gone and she just expects Casanova to come back at any moment but as the rut wears on they say the bucks move on and younger bucks will move in on the older scrapes? Still a doe issue and who knows why does do what does do? The above article might shed some light on the hormones she is exhibiting but myself feel it's a Psycho Doe thing! :o
