My First Kill with my Weatherby Vanguard 7mm Rem. Mag.

on 11-29-10 i shot my first deer with my new Vanguard. Not only was i happy with the gun i was happy with the deer. It was a 15 point Buck with a 15 1/2" inside spread.  Before the season i had a factory accu-brake installed and had the trigger adjusted to 3.25 lbs. i mounted a leupold 3-9x40 on it and sighted it in at 2" high at 100 yards. At 3:30 pm two days ago i made it all worth while.  the 150grain found it's home in the front shoulder at about 125 yards. He went about 40 yards and fell. I havent been this happy since i got married to my wonderfull wife 3 years ago.  Weatherby sure lives up to it's reputation.
