German Weatherbys...Barrel Length ??

Hello all -

First post for me, but I have been an avid Weatherby admirer for some time. I am about to acquire a German Weatherby...I was told that most German Wbys had 24 in. barrels...The one I am looking at has a 26 in. is this rare ??

Some say that the 24 inch barrel,German made rifles were built 2 to 1 compared to 26 inchers. I know that they usually bring at least a 700$ premium to the 24 inch version of what ever cal you are looking for.
