Although I do agree somewhat, I don't agree completely. Although some may indeed buy more expensive guns just because they can, most die-hard hunters do not. For many, a gun is a tool to get the job done. True, we get mighty attached to these tools and some of the 'safe queens' are beautiful and still other become far more than just 'tools' because of the memories attached to them, etc.Â
But, for me and many,many others, it is about what we want, not what we can afford or not afford. I have owned Mark V rifles, Sako rifles, etc.... I just happen to like the Vanguard as much as any of them. And if I can buy a $500 stainless rifle that is guarenteed to shoot .99" @ 100 and feels great in my hands... why wouldn't I buy it over another that is twice the price?
Anyway, this is why I would really like to see a 375 (of any flavor) chambered in the Vanguard line.
