I shot the 20 gauge version all of last year (ok, I get some special privilegdes) for upland, doves and ducks. It's light, trim, handles well and functioned perfectly with lots of different loads. I like the dual valve system because it works. No excess recoil, each valve is matched to a specific load range and it's unlikely that a hunter would need to switch from dove or quail loads immediately to magnum waterfowl or turkey loads. Plus they are extremely easy to change when it's neccesary.
I'm biased, but I can tell you Weatherby's product people make stuff they like to use, and the new SA-08 is one.
