my  wife got the special draw in  The Peace River region of northern alberta, 26" spread, 6.5" circs, 13" g2's, 28" diameter neck.

got permission from a farmer and wandered rather aimlessly into a random bush and stepped on this guy and his posse, couldnt get close enough to secure a good shot with so many animals around. came back next morning and picked him up 400 yards from were we left him. sent a ttsx his way and tagged him.
seen over 100 whitetails and mulies, 30 moose, elk, elk elk, -20 C and windy.

rockville, we both have UL mark'5's and run 100gr barnes in both, in fact we put the same handloads in both, it doesnt make enough difference at my and our skill levels to warrant separate loads.

Your in my back yard LOL. I love my Peace country. Animals are thick around here. Congratulations on the nice mule. Nice whitetail your brother snagged as well. I saw lots of elk this year too but the bulls are shy. They should have a year where moose is a general tag. Thick as flees. Lots of roadkill moose laying around.

Roger. Just browsed your trophy rm. There is one under "Stuff". I've seen that quite a bit south of here. fence post used as an antler rub until it literally disintegrates. First time I ever saw one I asked dad how a beaver got so far away from any water ;).

mike, the fence post is in central sask, my brother is/ was a contributor to big buck mag so got to see some real giants. we were hunting south of Bluesky.
the whitetail was taken in my home zone of 222.
