Yes the velocity should be more than adequate to go the distance. This particular load is using 43 grains of H4350, which from my research seems to be in the ball park of what many of the long range guys are using in terms of loads and velocities for this powder/bullet combo. I started my load development at 41.5 gr and worked up to 43.5. 41.5 grains gave an almost identical group but I went with the heavier powder charge since it had a slight edge in group size, obviously better velocity and zero signs of pressure problems. I'm assuming the 41.5 charge was the low node for this barrel and 43 was the high node.
I shot the rifle at some steel at 300 yards the other day from the prone with a rear sandbag and was able to get some half MOA groups on occasion (not every time though, I'm rusty shooting scoped rifles off of a bipod from the prone and need to work on my shooting position) This Sunday I intend to shoot in a long range match (800,900,1000 yards) so hopefully it doesn't take me too many rounds to get on target and I can post some positive results)
