the 200gr nosler accubond is great elk bullet we use it for every thing with a 588 bc and a 301 sd this is a long distanse hammer my weatherby likes this load 83 gr imr 7828sc 3115 fps these were chronographed if you do the math this load with this bullet runs with the super mag 338s  the load is max load in nosler manual always start 4 grains under max and work up 1 gr at a time I can load these 5 times before.primers wont seat.there is not a better long distance load than this !good hunting.

I completely agree, the 200gr Nosler Accubond is an excellent Elk round!

what is best? if you get 100 replies you will probably get 100 different opinions, try at least 3 different loads and see which 1 works best for your rifle,I personly load 165 grn. accubond, partition or SST(depending on my mood when I Load)(all 3 work well)in front off IMR or H 4831 and a fed.215M primer and have had nothing but 1 shot kills.
