I have a weatherby mark V in 270wby magnum. The model is the fibermark. The action has a 54 degree bolt throw, 9 lugs on the action. Comes with a green bell and carlson stock, bedded down. Rifle is a great shooter. About 200 rounds down the barrel. Asking $900 plus shipping to your FFL

Nice! Congrats on the sale LO 03! And you as well Chet on a fine purchase! Man I was tempted on this one, but I have promised myself the next two spends will be on the new Xbow and my friend’s first ever rifle. Glad it all worked out, bummed this wasn’t 12-18 months in the future... I just about covet a 270WBY these days and couldn’t think of a better one to buy. Happy shooting Chet and post some pics, please, both from the range and of game taken!

Thanks, I have been wanting one since about 1980. Almost bought one on GB but price seemed too good and timing was off for me. This time the timing was right and seller was right. I have come to trust this forum pretty well. I have never seen anyone deliberately steer somebody wrong. Looking forward to doing some shooting. The weather is perfect for that here around 50 degrees at the most and dry so it helps cool the barrel, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

+1, Whose barrel are you using? I typically use JP barrels for match grade rifles. I'd like to try a carbon fiber on my AR-10.

I was not being mean, I just didn't know the rest of the build. You may want to provide what is it that you are building, gunsmith, barrel, action, etc, etc, blah, blah. ;D ;D ;D
