Any Hornady ELD-X Shooters Out There?

Based on my recent experiences with the Hornady 129grn 6.5 Creedmoor American Whitetail (and let me stress, this is me personally, with an 18” barrel) not exactly dropping them on the spot, I decided to switch up my cartridge.

 Went with the Hornady 143grn ELD-X... I know some have had poor performance with this round in the 6.5 CM AR platform. I have had nothing but outstanding results from it so far in my Savage MSR 10. And as far as it goes, I’d pay no attention to the odd YouTube videos you see about the lack of accuracy from these guns. I’ve got sub-moa out of mine in two different rounds now. (Pic of 3 shot group once it was dialed in at 100 yards with IR scope in middle of the afternoon)

My long winded question is... how does this bullet perform on game at any ranges you have used it at?

I've had decent results on paper with them, too, no critters yet!  My 6.5  is a bolt gun.

They shoot under 1/2 moa @ 3425 fps in my 6.5-300.  Bang flop from 105 to 638 yds.  No bullets recovered.

That’s awesome. You are getting some serious speed behind those bullets...
