A friend of mine just bought a Model 307 Alpine CT. Anyone have one? How do you like it?
I have high hopes for this rifle. Everything that I've seen online... people love the gun and it's extremely accurate. Going to sight it in on Saturday with the Weatherby factory ammo 200 gr ELD-X. After that we will be handloading the Barnes 180 gr TTSX with N560 or H4831SC.

How does it shoots and how was the recoil?

I am ordering one tomorrow in 300 Win Mag. I have been shooting this caliber for over 50 years and have the dies, brass, primers and bullets and it's a proven caliber for my needs. I plan to put a Leupold Gen 2 VX-5 HD 3-15, Firedot Duplex on it. Should balance out good with my Bannish Meateater suppressor.

I got the Alpine CT in 300 Win Mag and put the Gen 2 Leupold VX-5 HD 3-15x44 scope on it. Just did a Weatherby barrel breakin but the factory ammo i used shot pretty good. I plan on working up some handloads in the next week. It's a great rifle with a wonderful scope but I was just thinking that I spent more on this rifle, scope and rings that I spent on my first new car, a 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car, LOL.😃

Just a followup on my Alpine CT in 300 Win Mag. I have been working up handloads and using factory ammunition and am impressed that everything i have tried shoots well. Nosler Partition Points, Barnes TTSX. Hornady ELD-X. Remington Core Loct all shoot exceptional groups. I probably will go with the Nosler partition Points as my final hunting round using handloads but the Federal Premium using Nosler Partition Points shoot a close second place. Third place goes to the factory Barnes Vortex TTSX 180 grain. All of the above I shot was 180 grain except for the Hornady Precision Hunter ELD-X in 178 grain.
