This elk (if picture posts) measured 402 5/8 for the Henry Kelsey awards.
It was taken on our ranch in southern Saskatchewan.

I didn't relieze there was much for elk in your area, cool, I'm in the Lloydminster area, we have lots of elk, but nothing that big. I'm been trying to get drawn for elk in the cypress hills zones for 20 years now, still no luck >:( tough zones to get.

We have elk but at times are hard to find. Last year the daughter and I had cow tags and we beat the bushes on the ranch and couldn't find a cow. Later on in the winter saw 6 real nice bulls. We have some moose now as well. Mule deer opens tomorrow. Wish I would get drawn. Saw a nice buck today while taking mineral out to some cows.

What caliber did you used?

That wasn't my elk but he used a 7mm mag.

That's a beauty! We haven't grown elk like that around here in a couple of decades.
