Frog toggs will work anywhere in lower us. However, AK is totally different. If going to alaska you need pvc rubber. Nothing will penetrate it. Trust me on this. I was born and raised in alaska. Gore-tex, frog toggs etc... no go in ak

All i'm saying is if you are making a rifle based on a show and more importantly a person that is left handed, you might want to consider making a left handed option. I would buy in heartbeat if they did.

Correct me if i'm wrong, meateater is a lefty. Yet i don't see that option?? Strange

I was born and raised in alaska. The only gear that will hold up to all day alaska rain is pvc rain gear. Trust me on this.

I have not posted on nation in a long time. I still frequently look at post. However, just like everything else in our country now people are overly sensative and tend to blow things out of proportion. Hopefully we can get back to talking guns and hunting and leave personnel feelings and politics out. God bless. Dave

Yes. They made one called vanguard ii in 270 wby. I have one that i gave to my son. They are wood rifles and shoot great. Hard to find one now.

Well guess what guys. The person on gunbroker who I told that his price of $100/box was completely unreasonable and ended up selling it to me fo $55/box. That is a fair price. I am happy to at least have 2 boxes now. Will take more if anyone can find some. Thanks for all the post.
