My wife's the best, an angel! She filed our taxes online, on the 27th, and that headache is done for another year, thanks God!

Ammo / Re: 300 Weatherby Magnum Ammo Find....
« on: January 30, 2025, 09:19:21 AM »
Great find, at that price especially. My 300WBY likes those bullets best in reloads, and it's sub-moa with many different bullets. Mine likes the 180 grain flat base spire points  a touch more than the boat tail ones.(The 180 grain factory Interlocks are the flat base ones I believe, which my 300WBY likes also.) They perform spectacularly on deer and vermin (ground squirrels, starlings, sparrows) alike. God bless and good shooting!

My sporterized Remington U.S Model of 1917 has a serial number. That's how I found out it was made in August of 1918.

Giving it to a deserving kid with a brain is a great idea. God bless your efforts!

Sounds like a rats dream hotel, huge, lots of food, and heated in the winter (like my neighbors coop)!  Our fence has gaps between the boards(not like they can't just climb over it anyway). I've snap trapped 35. Now he's got the exterminator and taking care of the root of the problem. If the coop were mine, figuring in exterminator expenses, on top of all the rigamarole my messed body would have to deal with, I would have it yanked and be done with it.

A lesson I learned from a neighbors chicken coop. Rats love chicken coops. As this is in the city, it may be more of a problem than on the outskirts or in the country. Stay vigilant with rat proof feed security, cleanliness, etc. It's probably cheaper than hiring an exterminator to croak them, then rat proofing it anyway. I have never raised chickens myself and am in no way an expert on this. My neighbor has hired an exterminator.

But, will he behave reasonably here on out? With no presidential or political influence to lean on, can he sustain his lifestyle legally? That waits to be seen.

A successful resolution. Merry Christmas!

Glad that worked for you Chris. There is quite the range of adjustment available in those triggers. God bless you with much success in the field!

Many unopposed democrats ran in Milwaukee too. I leave those blank on the ballot. My wife and Is' only votes that counted were the ones for Trump.
