While I appreciate the beautiful wood stock on the Weatherby 307 Adventurer SD, I can't see it setting any sales records. Those of us old enough to appreciate the marriage of beautifully grained walnut and deep blued steel will not find a black cerakote finished steel all that attractive.

Weatherby seems to be trying to appeal to all shooting enthusiasts with a single model. If they were to offer deep blued finish with that walnut stock I think it would outsell the version now available. But then again at my advanced age it's easy to second guess Adam's decision.

Best thing about Black Friday is all them turkey leftovers. Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce. I love the day after thanksgiving. Almost forgot the pumpkin pie.
