If you think that 5” swell would make a noticeable difference and wanted to part with it, I would be interested in purchasing it from you.
But I understand if you want to hold on to it

My palm swell measured out at 5.5” as well, so it has the thickest of the two on it… Just my luck

Well that is something I would’ve never figured! I would’ve thought it would’ve been one measurement for across the board.
I’ll measure mine when I get back home today, and let you know where mine lands at

Thank you sir. So to get one that is thinner in the palm area, I would need to find somebody that had a H-S Precision stock they wanted to get rid of?

I would absolutely love a thumb hole but I can’t find anybody that offers a thumhole in left hand for a MarkV Accumark.

I posted on here a couple days ago about wanting to replace the stock on my MarkV accumark. Been doing a lot of researching and the only option I’ve come up with without having to break the bank along with a really long lead time is a B&C stock.
My question is for anybody that has been around one is the palm swell any slimmer than what the factory accumark stock is? That’s the main thing I’m trying to get away from, just wanting the gun to feel more natural in my hand. Any info would be greatly appreciated

That looks real good. I love the old school wood look. Did you happen to notice if it is any thinner where the palm of your trigger hand goes, than your factory stock was?
And if you don’t mind me asking did you order it straight from Weatherby?

Yessire I’m in search of a unicorn for sure, ain’t nothin like being a lefty lol. But I guess I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I checked McMillan out and they don’t have anything in the style I’m looking for pre configured and I really don’t want to go without my rifle for 6 months to a year. (I know beggars can’t be choosers) 😂
I actually ordered a stock from Boyd’s but when I got it in, it was a left handed thumb hole with right handed bolt notch. Went to send it back and found out they don’t make anything for a 9 lug bolt only 6 lug.
What I’m trying to get away from is the thick swell in the factory stock between the back of the bolt and where the butt stock starts, pretty much where you place your trigger hand. It’s awful thick for my smaller hands.
If you don’t mind me asking what are you calling a standard euro stock? Is that just regular wood?

Thank you for the info sir. I contacted them, and they said unfortunately they don’t make anything to fit the MarkV

Bear with me guys I’m new to this whole starting a thread online thing. I’ve got a left handed MarkV accumark with the 9 lug magnum bolt and #3 contour barrel. Looking for a thumb hole/drop down tactical style stock for, or would entertain getting a wood stock from weatherby custom if they do that sort of thing.
Not wanting to go the carbon fiber route so Peak44 is out, B&C don’t offer what I want in a lefty, and Boyd’s doesn’t make anything for the 9 lug guns.
Any options or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
