Wow, that looks delicious!  Pictures of the cut pieces, and how about sharing that recipe for those who don't live in TX.   ;D ;D LOL!!!!!

I just rubbed it down with McCormick’s Montreal, Famous Daves and crap load of Garlic powder. Smoked it for 6 1/2 to 7 then wrapped it in foil for 2-3 hours when it reached 150 degrees. Kind stalled temp wise for a bit. Once it got to 160 I kept it there for about 30 minutes and took it off the grill and let it rest.

Yes I got a smoke ring. It was about 8 1/2 pounds and cooked for a little more than 8 hours.
Made nachos and tacos. Thought it was really good.

Now that I live in Texas I had to at least attempt to make one. Bought the cheapest one at Walmart so if I messed up we would be out too much. I thought it turned out pretty good.
Used my Vision grill that Academy sells that resembles the big green egg.

I bought ammo for my .257 a couple months before I actually bought the rifle.

Get the cookbook out Oscar. I like my backstraps rolled in flour and fried in bacon grease. Let me know when they're ready.

We will need more plates and beer

I keep saying I want to get into bird hunting.
Nice pictures.

I have several boxes of the Winchester power points in 6.5 Creedmoor. My rifle likes it. I had some federal whitetail ammo that had a stiff bolt close but not on the Winchester ammo. Every rifle is different though.

Might be a while before I hunt in the snow again.
I love that you can see critters 100’s of yards away in the woods when there is snow.
