Update, I have inspected 14 of my rifle's barrels with my teslong borescope. Searching the web, I found what I described in the chamber is commonly called "fire cracking" a friend who owns a rifle building gun shop said its "Heat cracking".
Someone posted a good photo of it on here. My buddy said it's actually damage to the metal and cannot be removed without a reamer.
My Mark V in 7mm wby, has a blackened burned wood type look and texture. My 7mm rem mag has it as does a FN Mauser action in .358 Norma Mag. Some newer rifles just have a small narrow ring of it that appears only as a blacken area. The 3 rifles I listed all look like blacken burned wood.
My buddy also said this, after scoping thousands of barrels looks can be deceiving. Some look like crap and preform outstanding while others are bright and smooth that don't shoot worth a hoot. Clean the barrel when needed, but if it shoots accurately don't mess with it.
All of my rifles either shoot well or I sell/fix them. The 7mm wby shoots 3 shot groups at 100 yds some at about .50 of an inch, all loads I have used shoot around or under 1 inch. At 300 yds the 3 shot groups vary plus or minus 3 inchs. Not match grade gun but fine for hunting. At 65 years old I am not sure my eyes will let me shoot any rifle much better.
