Got my annual lifetime tags in the mail the other day. Six whitetail, 1 bear, 2 turkeys. You can buy unlimted antlerless deer tags at your local Wallyworld for $10 apiece. Our deer In NC aren't big, but they are corn fed and very tasty. And you can fill a freezer full. We have huge bear too. A 500 pound bear is really not a big deal. I did find some sign of an old buck last year on some public land that is by draw. I may actually put in for it. Most of my draw hunts are for public waterfowl hunts. We have plenty of deer, bear, and turkeys, but ducks are an entirely different matter. Good luck to everyone.

There is a lot of excitement in this house. My 13 year old daughter drew a Idaho bull moose tag.We already have trail cameras out and have been spending extra time at the range. This will be a very good fall.I know the memories that we are about to encounter will last a lifetime.

Well I failed to draw an Arizona deer tag again, that makes 31 years. With 18 bonus points I thought I would draw the Kiabab east late hunt. I was hoping to go from my Wyoming area 7 elk hunt south to Arizona then home to Oregon. Well maybe next year if I'm still on top of the dirt. At least I still have Oregon archery elk and rifle blacktail.
