This article is two years old, but I had not seen it before, thought it was interesting, and wanted to share. A good read.

Come and take it.

Thanks for sharing, I may have read that a couple years ago, but being a fan of the 270 Bee, sure didn't hurt to read it again.
Nice seeing someone use that Spitzer ammo on a once in a lifetime Hunt and have great success, some think it's just cheap break in/range ammo that you can get the brass out of, I see it as much better then that and wouldn't be scared to use it on any Hunt that the Cartridge used is intended for.

I know my rifle likes that spitzer ammo.
I don't have a .270 wby mag. I think I will though at some point.

I am a big fan of the 270 Wby, and I own several rifles, and they all like the Spitzer ammo.  Thanks for sharing!

I have always had devastating results on game with my 270 Bee and130 spritzers. little heavy on lost meat but devastating.

I have had remarkable success with my 7mm Weatherby, so I'm sure that the .270 Bee is just about the same. In studying the ballistics of each, I don't think I would have a 7mm if I had bought a .270 first, or vice versa.

My 1958 270 WBY MRK V  is 1 in 12" . 130 grain bullets are about it's limits on stabilizing. It might have had some influence on Roy's decisions.  ;D
