I just got done killing dandelions and clover.
You can't do that to well with a compound.
My whip is around #60 at my draw length.

If you are aiming for each dandelion and clover, that's good. If your missing the target that bad, I'd leave that bow behind when you head to Idaho.  ;D

I giggled, no I was shooting at them. I had one that was kicking my butt. I was all around it for the first 3 shots but eventually got it.
I originally bought the arrows I have using for my Toelke Super D but my Whip likes them more. I need to find arrows for it too.
I would take one of these bows with me if I knew I wouldn't get target panic before my trip. Especially if I knew I had a 20 or less yard shot.

Yea I wasn't sure, in my younger years I used to spend a lot of time looking in the grass!!! My buddy in Colorado always carries a field tip to stump shoot when we're archery elk hunting. He has recently given up on his custom long bow due to shoulder problems.

I get sore but I am glad I don't have to give it up yet.
I would love to take one of them and some Judo points up to Idaho. Some birds will be in season. My compound and Weatherby will be way to much😄Judo points don't slow down enough in my compound. Not as much fun either.

Since you are driving and will have plenty of room you should take it with you to Co. Chris. You never know.

Chris, I have never had time to do everything I wanted to on my out of state hunts. Don't plan to much to do, your going to run into some unexpected twists and turns. We will all be waiting for updates, lots of cell phone coverage in Colorado. Did you ask your guide about cell phones in Idaho?

No I have not asked about cell coverage in the area we will be. May be just using my phone as a camera for the hunt. If it doesn't work I prolly will be more still! But I would like to keep in touch with my wife and text/email the members that I usually talk to when I am not on here.

That would be cool if you could give us a daily report about the trip. Progress, animals seen, taken etcc. Cell phone coverage might be spotty though.  Will you be staying in a lodge, cabin, tent?

Had the Whip out last two days. I was on fire again with it. Killed one dandelion at 27 paces. Didn't have a chance.
