Has anyone tried the 230 gr eldx yet in the 340?

Nope! but sounds promising.

I'd like to see WBY load perhaps the 265gr accubond or similar in the .340 Wby.

257 - If you haven't already, play with your seating depth and if you aren't using something like the Lee factory crimp die, give that a try.  With a light crimp and tweaking my seating depth, I've been able to get amazing results out of the ELDx bullets from 178-212s.  Haven't tried the 230s yet but I would suspect they could be further tuned as well.

Thanks for information
The next test for the ELD-X bullet for me is, a bullet recovery box, magnum velocity under 100 yards
