My Widow didn’t last long. The guy that runs the bow shop I go to wanted it when I went and got arrows. Then I went on another search for a Toelke 3 piece like I had once before. I found one, sold it to the bow shoo owner and now have a 60” cocobolo riser with Yew limbed Toelke Curlew on the way. It’s a bit lighter. It is 46@28. I will be getting around 50 pounds out of it at my draw.

I have been on fire lately with my Curlew. Been shooting a few arrows a week. Making sure I don’t shoot when I start getting tired.

Smart to quit when you get tired, that's when you develop bad habits.

I need to start shooting, only a month or so until I head to Colorado along the Kansas border bowhunting by Hale Colorado.

Hopefully you will be sending me some pictures.
I just saw today that they lowered our limit yet again because of EHD. Only 2 antlerless and 1 buck this year now.

Anna talked about it. May go out during youth season. Told her I get off on the last day in the morning so we could go that evening and just sit in the backyard last couple hours before dark. I told her that mostly does and a couple spike been coming out every night. I have seen a couple nice ones here and there.
