It was a beautiful day to sit in the stand but the deer didn't show up, maybe next time.

Went out for one final sit for the season Sunday, I saw (9) come out of the bush into the corn field just as I was packing up about 300 yards away. The Excalibur is a shooter but a little too far....lol

Maybe next year they will be a little closer.  I'm hoping to pick up a crossbow before next season, if I don't buy another rifle.

There are a lot of great crossbows with lot's of options depending on your budget. Good luck if you purchase one.
Bow hunting extends your hunting season.
