Hey, Adam is on top of this! His credibility is spotless so far! It only took 6 pages to get this issue solved!

So things have gotten rather heated in the Nation since this post and another one about a Vanguard. That one I can not speak about as it doesn't involve me and I don't have much of an opinion to say.... However I have some more to say about my rifle and Weatherby. Sure this rifle shouldn't have been let out like this. But it has, its been done. I have voiced my opinion on it with this thread and yes probably got a bit worked up more than what I normally do. But still standby what I have said. In hindsight I should of waited for Weatherby to fix the rifle then posted on here how I received it and how Weatherby then fixed it for me. But I didn't. My apologies to Weatherby for that. Because I knew they would man up and fix it without a doubt and I should have given them the time to do so.
There seems to be a few members on here that are angrier about this rifle than I am. Why? Its not their rifle, its not their money? I am happy with whatever Weatherby want to do to fix my problem and with the support I have received from both Weatherby USA and the Weatherby agents down here. In fact I am as happy as a pig in the proverbial as now that I have had time with this rifle I like it. I fiddled with it yesterday and can see how it should be a pretty easy fix and I thoroughly like the thing. Unless of course it doesn't shoot haha ;D
So I am saying that this is the end of anything that need s to be said about my rifle. Here or anywhere else.
Thanks for everyone's input and opinions throughout this thread. But there is now no more that needs to be said.
Cheers guys,
Brett

First let me say no one needs to speak or appologize for me and my thoughts, I don't need it and sure as heck don't want it.  Maybe my point was misunderstood somehow so let me say a few things so there's no mistakes:

1) I feel bad for you about your rifle
2) I was supporting your complaint as others were
3) It should've never left the factory like that
4) For the price you paid quality control should've went over it with a fine tooth comb at least once and it should've been absolutely perfect in every way
5) I'm happy I didn't buy one because of the chance of getting a rifle with the same issue
6) I do not buy any guns without seeing them first
7) When you spend several thousand dollars on a rifle regardless of who's name is on the side of it it should be absolutely perfect in every way
8) I feel quality control dropped the ball on this rifle
9) Would I buy another Weatherby rifle, it's a definite possibility
10) It seems as if you were happy with everyone supporting you and your complaint until now.

None of this is to be construed in any way, shape, or form as an attack on you, your issue, or Weatherby.  Hopefully this makes my comments crystal clear and there's no misunderstanding to what I've said.

Nothing is better than a Weatherby, big bore magnum, or a Colt.

Obviously you are one that needs to get the last word in Chris. So I will just say this, I AM HAPPY with everyone's supporting my complaint! I have never said I wasn't. I agree this rifle should never have been sent out. I have never said it shouldn't have. Obviously you have miss understood what I am trying to say.
I am trying to say that it has all been sorted out. So there is no need to continue on with this thread. I am happy with the outcome so therefore there is no need to continually have anything else to add to this. It is that simple  ::)

Brett my only question is, have you shot it? If it punch's 5 rounds into a 1/4 inch you might not want to send it off!!!

Haha no I haven’t had the chance to. The heat here is still terrible. I will try and get out next week though. If it shoots that good then the mag can stay as is 😂
