New serial number WY00****

After three months of waiting my new Accumark mkV pro in 338 Lapua has arrived.  I feel like I did when I got my first pellet gun at 10 years old.  Looking at the SN it is WY0047**. Does anyone know what the new numbers stand for or is it as simple as my rifle is number 47** off the new line in WY? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Nation!! Its my belief that 4,700+ rifles have been made in Wyoming already looking at your serial #, but I am far from being a Weatherby Expert. Hopefully someone else knows for sure, if you get a chance post a couple pictures. And let us know how it shoots.

I’m waiting on my base and rings so these pics will do for now. Breaking in the barrel and she is very light especially wo the glass but shoots like a dream.  With the brake on she hits just like my unbraked 300 Weatherby mag, took the brake off and you know you are shooting the Lapua. More pics when I get my glass on.
