New Custom Shop Order

Hi all, new to the forum and from what I can tell there is a ton of good info here. I placed an order with the custom shop on 3/31/20 for an Accumark 6.5 CM. Really looking forward to receiving and shooting the new rifle.

Quick question- do you know if the rifle will come with a case of any type? I know other semi/custom rifle makers include a  pelican case with custom cutouts that are included in the purchase. Just curious!

No case that I know of comes with a new Mark V.

I have ordered through the custom shop before and they have never given a case with a rifle. I have never heard of Weatherby doing it either. It would be nice though. Even just a Weatherby soft case would be cool.

hello, i got my custom shop order in about 60 days, you rifle will come in a plain brown box, with weatherby rifle cardboard box inside, no thrills until you open the box!!!!!!!!!

Just checked the Weatherby web site.  Soft cases are available but no hard cases.  I'd really like to have a two rifle hard case to be able to carry my .257 and .300.  Who knows, maybe if they are kept together I might end up with a .240?

Dino, I had Americase make me a double rifle case for my 340 and 270 Roys. I had them add a few inches in length and width. It works great. Also used for two Browning Superposed 12ga, 30 inch barreled shotguns. I believe aside from a tank driving over them your rifles will be well protected. GJ
