Trail Cams

Nation,
I'm interested in pursuing the trail cam subject. I look for a while and then give up not knowing which way to go. They seem a little bit like computers, buy one and in 6 mos. it's obsolete. So;
1. What's you favorite make model?
2. How long can I leave them out, a week, a month, two months?
3. Do you have ones that send photos to phone?
4. Are the high dollar cams the best?
I'll probably buy two or three. These will go up in the Washington/Oregon Cascades and Coast Range, scouting for black tails.
Thank You

Been using Stealth Cams for a few years now. Small, easy to program and easy on batteries. Put a couple out last October and pulled them last week. Still had plenty of battery life.
Had a couple Cuddybacks, but for the money, I’ll stick with SC. The Cuddies were always malfunctioning. Had one for 6 months and the solution was to send it in for repair, about $200. Almost what I gave for the camera.
Life is to short to hunt with an ugly rifle.
