I saw the Black Friday sale but was trying to talk with customer service and couldn't get through for a few days. They must be really busy as I took a few days of trying and holding to finally get to speak to someone.

I was hoping to be able to get the book signed by Adam Weatherby (and possibly also Ed Weatherby), but I was told that this had been requested before and that the position had been taken that was not an option.

Whilst I get that everyone is busy maybe I had hoped that signing a few each day with the morning coffee, or just before leaving in the evening would be doable and add up to quite a few books in no time at all.

I still feel it would be a nice touch for the anniversary book. One does realise Weatherby is big business now and most likely a lot like dealing with any large corporate. The sense that we have of a personal touch is possibly rooted in history and belongs to an era that has passed (for all of us and in many aspects of life). That said, I was quite disappointed by the response.

I would like to get one but was told this may be considered in the future, so maybe I'll still wait a bit. It looks like a great resource for WEatherby fans and collectors the world over.
I shoot cases with a belt because I feel the other cartridges need to pull their trousers up.
