Duck Hunt

Heading to Rondeau Bay with my two boys tomorrow morning for the opener. Suppose to rain most of the morning so see how that goes.
The boys say there are a bunch of local geese, some wood ducks and teal hanging around. Always good to get back in the duck blind.

Was a slow day, which is not uncommon for the opener. We ended up with a few teal and a few wood ducks.
Quality time with my boys though 

Lots of local geese around but they loved the farmers fields more than our spread

Well taking a few Teal and wood ducks always makes for some exciting moments and a chance to talk and laugh about the ones that were missed. Enjoying each others company is priceless.

I had to look up Rondeau Bay, It's not really that far from where my Dad grew up at Tilbury.

That's probably what makes duck hunting so much fun it's kind of a team sport! When i get with the kids or my old buddies we forget how much the hunt cost and the price of ammo!
