A Peter Capstick Story

Peter Hathaway Capstick was an American hunter and author. He was born in New Jersey and educated at the University of Virginia although he was not a graduate. Capstick walked away from a successful Wall Street career shortly before his thirtieth birthday to become a professional hunter. He spent much of his adult life hunting dangerous game in Africa and has many books and interesting stories to his credit. Recently I came across this story:

That was a cool story. I have read a couple of his books and enjoyed them.

Yup, cool story! I too have read a number of his books, a few more than once. I have a series of videos of him hunting as well.

Brett, I took the liberty of using a piece of your 2018 African Safari (still shots) to provide an up close look at a baboons attack and defend weapons, if provoked, and maybe without being provoked as in this story.
