Will gun prices come down any in 2023?

The mainstream media says firearms sales are down considerably from the past couple years, so I'm wondering if prices might nudge down a little. Not counting on that by any means, but who knows, if inventory gets overstocked, maybe.

With CNBC leading that article,I find it hard to trust them on anything. MSNBC is even worse.  I hope it's true that prices will fall a bit. One of those Ruger made Marlins would just barely fit in my safe.     Good info,Tex!

Yeah, I did notice the source is CNBC (why my "mainstream" reference), but unless the figures stated are incorrect or
 outright lies, there's something to it.

It may well be true. The Republicans in charge in the house may influence the gun market as well. I'm still looking for 303 Brit brass.

Allot of guns hitting the market right now, will be interesting to see. Persoanlly i see the values coming down overall, maybe not with certain collector models as much but overall, yes. Just my 2cents;

Sorry I can't help you with 303 Brit brass..I pick up everyone that I find and modify it for cylinder length cases for shotshells in my .44 mag pistols.

I think it goes in cycles when the demorats hold the cards,  I would be more concerned about new laws and shortages/prices of primers and powders.

It won't surprise me when entry level rifles hit the $700 mark and $1,000 - 1,500 becomes the mid-level price even though I'm seeing that range now.
