Whitetail hunts

I am heading to Burks Falls, Mid Ontario on Saturday for a 3-day deer hunt, same hunting grounds we bear hunt. Then up to Manitoulin Island, Northern Ontario for a 5-day deer hunt.

I will post good or bad when I return

The weather at Burks Falls is going to be unseasonably mild for the first few days of the hunt and then drop like a stone. The long range for Manitoulin Island the third week of Nov looks like we could have snow.

We had a good hunt at Burks Falls, the doe was taken Monday morning and the buck Tuesday afternoon. Yesterday and today was slow.

As mentioned, I'm off to Manitoulin Island Nov 21st to 25th. The weather is looking much colder that week.
