If you havent seen it yet, Weatherby just released a new Mark V Apex model with a vertical gripped stock. Very interesting.

It's nice every caliber is offered in a left handed model too.

From what I’ve been reading right now a slingshot will creat problems in Canada.

Looks like a nice rifle. Have to handle that stock though. Not sure l like them on a hunting rifle.

I agree with you guys about needing to handle one prior to a purchase. We were in a Cabela's store last year and I noticed a Fierce Rival with the vertical grip stock. I asked to see it and after mounting it a few times, I gave it right back. It didnt fit me at all. Length of pull and grip feel were way off for me.

It’s available now in just about all weatherby cals. not sure who has one on stock?

From what I’ve been reading right now a slingshot will creat problems in Canada.
 
I got in trouble with a slingshot when I was 10. Seems I was the only one who thought launching cherry bombs from my Whamo a couple hundred yards and then trying to look innocent was great fun.

I like this as a long range option, something cool about banging steel targets from a long ways off!

I looked at one yesterday here in Casper, in 6.5 300, I liked it. Not sure if its worth going to the 6.5 over a 7mm though.
